Casa Europa Sarsina

The Casa Europa in Sarsina is located in a neighbouring village called Turito and is the
result of the refurbishing of an old school. A seminar on sculpture arranged for April
1998 will be the opening course within the project "Casa Europa". After its conclusion,
the house will be at the disposal of all groups interested. It will be able to offer
accommodation for 20 people in twin-bedded en suite bedrooms and a special bedroom for
handicapped people. Among its facilities there is also a kitchen.
In 1997 a cooperation agreement was signed between the province of Forli/Cesena and the region of Kassel; there is a town-twinning between the municipality of Sarsina and the city of Grebenstein and between the municipality of Bertinorro and Kaufungen. Santa Sofia - also in the province of Forli/Cesera - took active part in the project EUARCA in 1997 and will do so again in 1998. |
